Is Your Law School Issuing an e-Transcript? The NCA has Given Us Guidelines

Attention law school graduates of this year, you may have been informed by your school that due to the ongoing Pandemic, physical, formal copies of your transcript, diploma, or degree certificate will not be provided. Many UK schools, in particular, have transitioned to an electronic model to ensure the safety of in-person school administration. To assist students in navigating this new approach, NCA Tutor has reached out to the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) to inquire if they will accept electronic documents in lieu of the usual physical copies that are traditionally mailed to their Ottawa offices.

The answer is in the affirmative. Below is the formal response from the NCA, dated Feb 12, 2021:

"Schools may send electronic transcripts through secure document share service to Transcripts[at]flsc.ca. The NCA is able to accept documents through the services listed below (listed alphabetically):

  • Digitary CORE
  • eScript-Safe
  • ETranscript (Michigan State University)
  • ETX-NG
  • Grad Intel
  • HEAR
  • MyCreds (https://mycreds.ca/)
  • My eQuals
  • Parchment: Digital Credential Service
  • National Student Clearing House: Electronic Transcript Exchange
  • PremierCert
  • TranscriptsNetwork by Credentials Solutions

So, if your school uses any of the systems mentioned above to manage your documents, the NCA gladly welcomes electronic copies of your files in place of official paper copies sent by your school through mail. Wishing you all the best in your studies!
